Bag of Tar is a Currency Item in Mortal Shell. Bag of Tar can be consumed to obtain 300 tar. Those familiar will extrar 375 tar, which can be used to upgrade the different Shell Abilities by talking to Sester Genessa. Currency Items can be dropped by Enemies or found inside chests and crates.

Nektar bound in sackcloth and string.

Keeping Nektar in sackcloth spoils it, mixing it's pure essence with dirt, human oils, and worse. In time, the tar often adheres to the cloth, forcing the desperate to cut the bag apart and devour the tar in oily strips.
