Solemn Offering is a Key Item in Mortal Shell. Solemn Offering can be used to increase the Tarnished Seal healing effect of the empowered ripostes and can be found at Monument of Ash, Abandoned Chamber and Eternal Narthex. Key Items can be used to progress through the main campaign or upgrade your equipment.

 

An offering used to unlock the mysteries of the Tarnished Seal.

The seal awakens when blood fills the sigils etched into its surface. The Solemn Offering was originally meant to hasten that the Rite of Rebirth. Drained of blood, the chosen could slip more easily from their ephemeral form.

 

 Solemn Offering Use

  • Can be used to increase the Tarnished Seal healing effect of the empowered ripostes
  • You can upgrade the Tarnished Seal healing effect up to three times.

 

Where to Find Solemn Offering

  • 1x can be found at the Abandoned Chamber, inside a chest located next to Sester Genessa right after you defeat the Enslaved Grisha.
  • 1x can be found at the Monument of Ash, in the room that has a door leading back to the Temple Grounds. You'll find it inside a chest in the corner of the room guarded by 1x Unburning Flesh and 4x Brigand.
  • 1x can be found at the Eternal Narthex. From the three pillars with fire on top, looking up the stairs towards the gate that leads to the next area, take the teleporter to the left. After exiting, continue to follow the left wall until you reach a ramp leading to a group of Brigands and a pillar of fire. Instead of going up the ramp, there is a second Brigand camp underneath. Kill the three brigands, and continue to hug the left wall as much as you can. Eventually, this will lead you to a hidden teleporter nestled among the obsidian pillars, which will take you to the chest containing the Solemn Offering. NOTE - This can ONLY be accomplished before beating the area boss. After the fog is activated, this area changes significantly and most teleporters become inaccessible.
